Nikon COOLPIX P6000
Nikon have announced a new top-of-the-range compact digital camera in the shape of the COOLPIX P6000. It seems that the big camera companies are finally learning that people want to record raw image files with their full-featured digital compacts, and the P6000 does indeed have this feature. Also included are a 4x wideangle zoom, a GPS system, a 13.5 megapixel sensor, mechanical vibration reduction, full manual exposre control, plus a whole load of useless crap that all camera makers can't help including such as face detection.
