TAMRON AF18-270mm Di II VC
Tamron have announced what is currently the worlds highest zoom ratio lens for 35mm based digital SLR with a new 15x 18-270mm (28-420mm approx. 35mm equiv.). This beat the record set by Tamron's last such lens which featured a 13.9x 18-250mm zoom range.
The new lens features Tamron's own vibration control technology to control the inevitable camera shake from such lenses.
Tamron are promoting this lens a ideal for those upgrading from super-zoom compacts to DSLRs, which is just as well because no serious photographer would touch such a lens with it's obvious optical compromises!
