Ricoh GX200

Ricoh have launched a mild update to their popular GX100 camera. The lens and general design are the same, but the new camera gets 2 extra megapixels (oh joy of joys!), a slightly larger 2.7" LCD monitor, an electronic level indicator (no excuse for sloping horizons!), a claimed increase in image quality via a new image processing engine, and a number of other minor improvements.

The features that made the GX100 such a unique niche product remain; the 24-72mm ultra-wide zoom lens, raw image capture and optional eye-level electronic viewfinder.

The new camera has a suggested retail price of £350, or £400 in a kit with the external viewfinder.
